Kulach in the Spotlight for February

The Reed-Custer High School Senior Spotlight winner for the month of February is Natalie Kulach.

Natalie is the daughter of Michael and Ewelina Kulach.

During her high school career, Natalie was involved in Basketball, World Culture Club, Recycling Club, Science Club, Academic Challenge Team, the ICE Leadership Conference, and FCCLA. She was a Student of the Month, is in the National Honor Society, is on the Honor Roll, and is an Illinois State Scholar.

Her future plans are to attend Purdue University and major in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Here are a few thoughts from Natalie’s teachers.

Mrs. Leveille says that Natalie “was great as a freshman in our Honors Biology class! She has a positive attitude and great disposition. She is confident in her abilities and students respect her as a “leader”. She is polite and an all-around nice person! She has been a part of our Recycling Club now for a couple of years and is going to participate on our Academic Challenge team.”

Mrs. Bugg thinks that Natalie is “one of the smartest, nicest, and most polite students at RCHS. She is a quiet leader who will do great things in her life.”

Mr. Carrescia believes that Natalie is “a very intelligent young lady, and her hard work on top of that has made her an excellent student as well as person. She is nice to be around and always has a smile on her face.”

Mrs. Benoit thinks that Natalie “excels at everything she does not just because she does her work, but because she masters the content instead of practicing skills. She will be able to accomplish anything she sets her mind to!”

Mr. Welsh says that Natalie is “a bright young woman, who, through hard work and determination, has become a phenomenal student. I am proud to have her as a member of the National Honor Society as she exemplifies our core beliefs.”

Mrs. Cann acknowledges that Natalie is “a hard worker who shows a great deal of dedication to her school work. Although her plate may be full between academics and the various school activities she participates in, she always has a smile on her face. She is a role model to her classmates and is a shining example of what you can achieve when you give 110% effort.”

Mrs. Lee believes that Natalie is “a kind, caring person that always has a smile. She’s a very hard worker and is extremely dedicated to everything she is involved in.”

Ms. Patton is thankful that Natalie “has always been a hard worker, participates well in class and works well with her classmates. She is respectful and I always enjoy having her in class.”

Mr. Newsom thinks that Natalie is “polite, hard-working, and respectful, and she always does her best work on her assignments.”

As a final thought, Natalie’s advice to younger students is, “Even after the most stressful of days, make sure to dedicate some time towards your personal interests and whatever makes you happy. Always make yourself your first priority.”

On behalf of the teachers and staff at RCHS, congratulations Natalie Kulach, the February winner of the RCHS Senior Spotlight.
