Domrzalski is in the ‘Spotlight’ for March

The Reed-Custer High School Senior Spotlight winner for the month of March is Chayton Domrzalski.
Chayton is the son of John and Angelique Domrzalski.
During his high school career, Chayton was involved in Fall Plays, Spring Musicals, National Honor Society, FCCLA, Scholastic Bowl, Speech, and Concert Choir. He was also a Student of the Month and was on the Honor Roll.
His future plans are to study pharmacy at UIC.
Here are a few thoughts from Chayton’s teachers.
Mr. Reinbacher believes that “there are not enough good things in the world to say about Chayton. He gives maximum effort in everything he is involved with and constantly sets the bar for his friends and peers. I constantly use Chayton as an example for younger students who might be nervous on stage. His confidence and humility blend together nicely to make an extraordinary young man. If I could have him for four more years, I would.”
Mrs. Leveille says she is “bummed I never had Chayton as a student in any of my classes! I do know that when I moderated Scholastic Bowl matches, he “buzzed in” often and often “carried” the team to victory! I also have enjoyed seeing him perform in the plays/musicals. He is full of talent and energy!!!”
Mrs. Redwitz is “so happy he was picked!! Chayton is a great young adult that always says hello each time I see him. He is kind and compassionate and always willing to help out.”
Mr. Dubbert thinks that Chayton “is a talented young man who will succeed in anything he does. His ability to adapt to any situation and make the best of it will help him go far in life. He is willing to take on new experiences without fear and embraces the opportunity to learn new things.”
Mrs. Bugg remembers “watching Chayton on stage his freshman year when he stole the show. Right then, I knew he was destined for greatness! In class, he gets along with everybody, works hard, and always does great work. He is one of the best!
Mrs. Rankin believes that Chayton “is a great student who truly values learning. He always does his best in the classroom and brings a positive energy to every class.”
Mrs. Dennis is thankful that Chayton “is an incredibly hard working and respectful student.”
Mrs. McGarey says that she “hasn't really talked with Chayton for a few years, but he was on the Scholastic Bowl team his freshman year and he was always a joy. He was always up for fun. I have enjoyed watching him in the plays and musicals! He has grown into a fine young man.
Ms. Baron is grateful that Chayton “is a polite, hardworking student. He excels in the arts and is kind to his peers. Chayton’s talent and dedication will take him to great places after high school!”
As a final thought, Chayton’s advice to younger students is, “Sometimes it’s best to take a step back and allow some time for yourself.”
On behalf of the teachers and staff at RCHS, congratulations to Chayton Domrzalski as the March winner of the Senior Spotlight.
