The Miner youth football program had a successful round during the second week of the playoffs, advancing all of their levels to the semifinals and are the only program to do so.
The superlight Miners started it out with a 34-0 shutout over Sandwich played in Manteno. They improve to 9-0.
The superlight Miners had 195 yards on the ground. Leading ballcarriers included: Maddox Meents (80 yards) and Connor Rodriguez who had 76 yards.
The defense was phenomenal once again, pitching their fourth shutout of the season.
