Even though summer is in full swing, back to school is only eight weeks away.
While most parents might not yet be thinking of stocking their kid’s backpacks for the return to school, the Reed-Custer Board of Education is, with plans this year to ease the burden a bit for parents of K-5 students.
On June 20, Superintendent Mark Mitchell announced that the district will purchase all the supplies for students at Reed-Custer Elementary School for the 2018-2019 school year, from paper, markers and crayons to plastic storage bags and facial tissue.
