Car Show a trip down Memory Road

STAFF REPORT

For a few hours on Saturday, Aug. 19, a trip through Braidwood was like a trip through time. Dozens of cars were on display over the weekend for the sixth annual car show at the Braidwood Area Historical Society Depot Museum on Saturday.

A total of 42 cars entered this year’s shows, with makes and models ranging from the 1930s through the current century.

Visitors were treated to great weather, music, games, door prizes, and food. New this year were interviews by DJ Jess Saltzman of car owners over the microphone so all could hear.

Entry fees benefited the BAHS and museum.

More photos of this year’s show can be found in the Aug. 23 edition of the Braidwood Journal.
