Rose L. Waymire

GODLEY—Rose L. Waymire (nee Bednarz), 69, of Godley, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020, at Morris Hospital.
Born Sept. 22, 1950 in Chicago, Rose Lee was a daughter of Leonard and Geraldine (nee Paweski) Bednarz. She was raised and educated in Chicago and attended Chicago schools. Rose was an avid animal lover, especially of cats. She enjoyed dancing to oldies and Motown music.
Survivors include her life partner, James Panfil, of Godley; one daughter, Denise Gerloski, of Chicago; seven grandchildren: James (Alyssa) Hicks, of Coal City; Nicole (Nordy) Kedjouti, of Valparaiso, IN; Cody (Jessica) Hicks, of Coal City; Robert (Crystal) Gagnon, of Coal City; Heather Gerloski, of Carol Stream; Thomas Gerloski, of Winfield and Dakota Gagnon, of Braidwood; 12 great-grandchildren: Adam, Ayden and Amelia Hicks; Dominick and Vincent Kedjouti, Cole, Lillyan, and Jackson Hicks; Jeremy, Alex and Archer Gagnon and Avery Becker; two brothers and four sisters: Jeffrey, Angela, Antoinette, Donald, Tammy and Regina; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Dawn Gagnon and one brother, Bruce.
Private services will be held and cremation rites will be accorded.
