Kenneth Zeb

BRAIDWOOD— Kenneth Michael Zeb “Ken” 59, of Braidwood, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026, at Morris Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was born Oct. 3, 1966, to Dennis and Leona “LeeAnne” (née Reese) Zeb.
Ken was a dedicated member of Laborers Union Local 288 and took great pride in his work throughout the years. He was also a member of the Wilmington Recreational Club. A man of Christian faith, Ken found his greatest joy outdoors. Whether fishing, hunting, or foraging, he felt most at home in nature and spent as much of his free time as possible outside. Those who knew him understood his appreciation for the simple things in life and the peace he found in the outdoors.
He is survived by his loving mother, LeeAnne of Braidwood; his daughters, Corinne Bright-Zeb of Morton Grove, IL, and Maralee (Keith) Randt of Braidwood; his brother, Steve (Angela) Zeb of Wilmington; and his six grandchildren: Joshua, Milo, Maxwell, Ezekiel, Uriah, and Matthias. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will fondly remember him and the time they shared.
He was preceded in death by his father; his brother, Gary Zeb; his son, Branden Bright; and his grandparents.
In accordance with Ken's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Services will be private.
