HOUSTON, TX—Cecilia Elizabeth Agamy Dobelmann, 83, passed away on Sept. 24, 2025, at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston TX.
 She was born Jan. 11, 1942 in Joliet at St. Joseph Hospital to John Russell Agamy and Margaretta Mildred Mortimer Agamy. She lived in Braidwood until her early 20’s. She attended St. Francis all-girls high school. She was a long time resident of Houston and was an entrepreneur.

WILMINGTON—Patricia A. Kral, 85, of Wilmington, formerly of Chicago, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Born on Sept. 24, 1940, Patricia Ann was the daughter of Pasquale and Dorothy (Jackson) Carrara. She was raised and educated in Chicago and graduated from Austin High School with the class of 1958. Pat worked for Johnson & Johnson for over 15 years as a packager before retiring.

BRAIDWOOD—Debbie E. Holloway (nee Ream), 72 of Braidwood, passed away peacefully at sunrise Wednesday morning, April 29, 2026, at Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital. Debbie was born May 8, 1953, to Jack and Geri (née Wagner) Rogers in Hinsdale, IL.
On April 12, 1981, she was united in marriage to Charles T. Holloway, and together they shared many wonderful years filled with love, laughter, and a deep commitment to one another until his passing on Sept. 22, 2016.

Arizona— Richard L. Pemble, 80, passed away on April 12, 2026, at Hospice of the Valley in Arizona.  Born and raised in Joliet to Homer (Lee) and Fae Pemble. Dick attended Joliet schools and graduated from JTHS in 1964. He served in the Army from 1966 to 1968 and was a Vietnam Veteran.

DIAMOND—Geneva Tiller (née Brock), 79, of Diamond, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2026 at Lightways Hospice in Joliet.
Geneva was born July 5, 1946, to Owen and Jane Brock in Jacksboro, TN. She was united in marriage to Johnny Wilson Tiller, and together they shared many years until his passing on April 17, 2011.

SURPRISE, AZ—Beverly Jean Hooper, 88, of Surprise, AZ formerly of Wilmington, and Arlington, VA, passed away peacefully on Dec. 24, 2025, at Rock Creek at the Park Memory Care.
Born on March 5, 1937, in Florence Township, Beverly was the daughter of Chester and Harriet (Reils) Hooper. She was raised and educated in Wilmington and Symerton, IL, graduating from Wilmington High School with the class of 1955, the first class to graduate from the new high school. She continued her education at Joliet Junior College.

MARYVILLE, TN—Sandra Kerr, 83, of Vonore passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026 at her home. Sandra was born on July 30,1942 in Joliet, to the late Emery and Glenice Jones. Sandra graduated Wilmington High School with the Class of 1960. She started her work career at the Joliet Arsenal Ammunitions Plant as a Secretary. She then later worked for Embassy Care Center as a Secretary until her retirement.

WILMINGTON—Susan Schnuckel, 72, of Wilmington, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at her home.
Born Nov. 12, 1953 in Evergreen Park, IL, Susan Jean was a daughter of James Gardner and Margaret (Getty) Olivetti. She was raised in Calumet Park, IL where she graduated from high school in 1971. On Jan. 31, 1981, Sue married William Schnuckel in Markham, IL, and together they would move to Wilmington where they raised their family.
