BRAIDWOOD—Brenda Jo Bumpous (nee Evans), 75, of Braidwood, passed away Thursday, Nov, 21, 2024 at Morris Hospital.
Born Sept. 10, 1949, she was the daughter of Donald LeRoy and Virginia Rose (nee Taylor) Evans. Brenda previously worked as a manager at McDonald’s and also a receptionist at Dr. Milton's office.

MORRIS—Jacqueline Loretta Kurz, 89, of Morris, passed away Friday, Nov, 22, 2024, at Advent Health Hinsdale Hospital.
Born on Nov, 7, 1935, in Chicago, Jacqueline was the beloved second child of Elmer Arnold William and Rose (Antonelli) Harder. Raised in the vibrant Hyde Park neighborhood, Jackie often reminisced about her childhood adventures, from walking to the Lake Michigan shoreline to cool off in the summer heat to the unforgettable air raid drills during World War II, when the city would go dark. She attended Yale Elementary School and graduated from Parker High School.

OSWEGO—Erik Thomas Toler, 44, lost his battle with pancreatic cancer peacefully on Nov. 13th, 2024, surrounded by the ones who loved him the most. Erik was born Dec. 14th, 1979, to Thomas Toler and Trudy Toler (Lawrence).
Erik graduated from Reed Custer High School in 1998 where he was a dedicated athlete. During Erik’s high school career, he met Lorrie Roudis of Morris, and they married in 1999 and went on to have four children.

BRACEVILLE—Mary Frances Int-Hout (Bottino), 98, passed away on Monday, Oct. 21, 2024 in Braceville.
Born on Jan. 12, 1926 in Joliet, she was the daughter of Pete and Jane (nee Clellan) Bottino.
She is survived by two sons, Gregory and Christopher; daughter, Pietertje; granddaughter, Kait; grandson, Kurt and great-grandson, Teo.
Cremation rites have been accorded. R.W. Patterson Funeral Home & Crematory have been entrusted with arrangements.

DIAMOND—Charles W. “Bill” Tabler Jr., 63, of Diamond, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024 at his home due to injuries sustained in a house fire.
He was born on Jan. 25, 1961 in Morris, to Charles W. Sr. and Ramona (nee LeRette) Tabler. He was raised with his brother and sister in the Morris area, attending Immaculate Conception Catholic School and graduating from Morris High School class of 1979. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy and later became a journeyman electrician for Local #177 of Jacksonville, FL working for over 30 years.
