WILMINGTON— Bobby Gene Stainbrook, 89, of Wilmington, passed away Thursday morning, July 30, 2020 at his home.
Born October 07, 1930 in Martinsville, IL, Bobby Gene was a son of Marion and Bertha (Kennedy) Stainbrook. On October 6, 1948, Bob married Marie Nowman in Wilmington and together they made their home in Wilmington.
Bob worked as an auto mechanic his entire life owned and operated Harold & Bob’s in Wilmington with his brother Harold for over 30 years. In his free time, Bob enjoyed to golf, bowl and spend time working in the yard.

BOURBONNAIS— Susan M. Viglia, 65, of Bourbonnais, died on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at AMITA St. Mary's Hospital in Kankakee.
Susan was born on November 17, 1954 to LeRoy and Mary (Rapier) Kemp in Kankakee. She married Edwin Viglia, Jr. on August 11, 1989. She worked as a buyer at Provena St. Mary's Hospital for over 30 years. She was a member of Maternity BVM Church in Bourbonnais. She volunteered at AMITA St. Mary's Hospital for 14 years. She enjoyed bowling, reading, traveling, gardening and spending time with her family.

ARKANSAS—Donald J. “Jimmy” Scrogham, 84, formerly of Coal City, passed away peacefully at his home in Lead Hill, AR on Thursday, July 30, 2020.
He was born on July 7, 1936 in Gardner, to Roy and Myrtle (nee Mudd) Scrogham. Jimmy served his country honorably twice in the United States Navy, serving during both the Korean War and reenlisting during the Vietnam War. He married DiAnn Ford on May 29, 1955.

ESSEX— Richard Edmund Stygar, 82, of Essex, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, IL.
Born June 2, 1938 in Chicago to the late Edmund George and Bernice Mary (nee Doubek) Stygar. Richard served in the United States Army and was a devout Catholic. He was an avid Chicago Blackhawks fan and also enjoyed trains, stamp collecting, reading, gardening and bowling.

BRAIDWOOD— Russell Frank Harris, 40, a lifelong resident of Braidwood, passed away in July of 2020. After a courageous and long battle with depression and addiction, Russell's pain became unbearable. He fought his demons too long and could not find his peace here on Earth. He ultimately succumbed to them.

BOLINGBROOK— Rosalyn Thomas, Sr., 60, of Bolingbrook and formerly of Chicago, passed away Friday, July 24, 2020 at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital in Melrose Park, Illinois.
Born November 27, 1959 in Chicago, Rosalyn was a daughter of Royle and Sally B. (Campbell) Johnson. She was raised in Chicago and graduated from Jones Commercial High School with the Class of 1978. On March 22, 1980, Rosalyn married Anthony Thomas in Chicago, and together they have raised a family and spent the past 40 years together.

COAL CITY— Helen Willis, 83, of Coal City, passed away unexpectedly on Monday morning, July 27, 2020 at Morris Hospital.
Born September 23, 1936 in Chicago, Helen Marie was a daughter of Charles and Helen (Chaloupka) Svoboda. She was raised in Cicero until moving with her family to Braidwood at the age of five, and went on to graduate from Reed Custer High School with the Class of 1955. On September 3, 1955, Helen married Aaron Willis in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Braidwood, and together they made their home in Joliet before returning to Braidwood in 1971.

Age 61 of Wilmington passed away Monday, July 27, 2020 at Aperion Care of Wilmington.

Born June 13, 1959 in Chicago, Cynthia Sue was a daughter of James and Shirley (nee Russell) Wilburn. She was raised and educated in Wilmington and graduated with the Class of 1977. Cindy was a member of Christian Life Assembly of God in Diamond, where she loved sharing her strong Christian Faith and serving the Lord. She enjoyed reading, artwork, and cherished spending time with her family and friends.
