COAL CITY—Audrey M. Endrst, 103, of Coal City, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 13, 2020 at her home.
Born Feb. 12, 1917 on the Huston family farm in Braceville Township, Audrey Maie was a daughter of Russell A. and Rose E. (Powell) Huston. She was raised in Braceville Township and graduated from Gardner South Wilmington High School with the class of 1934. On Nov. 29, 1941, Audrey married William F. Endrst in the Braceville Methodist Church, and William preceded her in death on Sept. 7, 1997 following 57 years of marriage.

INDIANA—Leslie “Bud” Foster Jr, 55, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at Our Hospice Inpatient Facility in Columbus, IN. He was the son of Leslie Sr. and Bobbie Vance Foster.
Known by his friends as “Bud”, he was a Christian by faith and loved people. He was a 26-year member of the Carpenters Local Union 916. He loved hunting, fishing, shooting pool, square dance calling, and music. He was always helpful to anyone who needed him and never met a stranger.

MAZON—Ellen R. Hackl, 65, of Mazon, passed away Friday, June 19, 2020 at Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood. Ellen had fought bravely to return to her active life after being hurt in an auto accident June 2, but could not overcome her injuries.
She was born Jan. 25, 1955 in Kankakee, to Albert C. and Eleanor M. (Conklin) Hackl, and was a graduate of Grant Park schools, and later attended college for a short time.

SHADOW LAKES—Roy Overland, 85, of Shadow Lakes, formerly of Chicago, passed away June 29, 2020. He was born July 15, 1935 to Edwin and Marie (Stedman) Overland.
Roy was a Chicago Policeman for 28 years, a Braidwood School bus driver for 16 years, a bus monitor for four years and a Braidwood Code Enforcer for two years. Roy loved fishing and playing cards and being kept busy.

WILMINGTON—Donald L. Norton, 76, of Wilmington, formerly of Kankakee, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Riverside Miller Center in Kankakee.
Born Nov. 12, 1943 in Kankakee, Donald was a son of Clyde and Inez Norton. He was raised and educated in Kankakee and on Oct. 10, 1964 Donald married Theresse Rogers. Prior to retirement Donald owned and operated Union Hills Sales and Service. He was a member of the New Lenox Sportsman Club and enjoyed fishing.
