12/11/2012 9:31:00 PM Two arrested in Braidwood drug bust
A teenager and an unidentified juvenile are facing charges following a drug bust this month at a Braidwood home.
On Saturday, Dec. 8, a narcotics search warrant was served at a residence at 134 N. Office St. in Braidwood. During that search, approximately 70 grams of cannabis was recovered in the home.
According to the police report, Qwynn Morgan, 18, of Braidwood, was arrested for manufacturing/delivering cannabis over 30 grams, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Morgan was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility on felony charges.
An unnamed juvenile was also arrested at the home and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. The juvenile posted bond and was released with a court date pending.

Nov. 11 - While on a traffic stop, Braidwood Police Officer Doug Savarino recovered a total of 10 firearms, two of which were stolen out of Topeka, KS. A loaded firearm was located in the passenger compartment of the vehicle. Enerst Brown, 39, of Topeka, was arrested on felony charges of unlawful use of a weapon (UWW). Brown was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility to await a bond hearing at a later time.
Nov. 22 - While on a traffic stop, Officer Savarino recovered a firearm under the driver's seat. Jason Durham, 33, of Zion, was arrested for UUW, no valid FOID and driving while license suspended. Brown was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility to await a bond hearing at a later time.
Nov. 28 - During a traffic stop, Officer Savarino seized $60,911 United States Currency, a laptop computer and gambling ledgers. The 29-year-old Chicago resident was released with charges pending. The Braidwood Journal will not publish the name of this individual until he is charged.
