Lady Wildcats advance to Regional championship
Wilmington's varsity softball team will be heading to the Regional championship on Saturday, as they defeated Seneca Tuesday night, 2-0.

Pitcher Miranda Southall recorded the win, as they offense scored both of their runs on passed balls.

Wildcats surprised in first round
Wilmington's baseball team saw their season come to an end on Monday, as they fell to Seneca in the opening round of Regional.

The game was an offensive showcase, as the Wildcats fell to the Irish, 14-12.

Wilmington plans youth soccer camp for Sunday
Wilmington High School will be working alongside Wilmington Soccer Club on Sunday, as they hold their first annual Youth Soccer Camp.

The camp will be held at Aperion/Embassy fields (555 W. Kahler Road) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., where kids will sharpen their soccer skills.

The Lady Wildcats varsity softball team came away with a conference win on Monday, defeating Reed-Custer, 6-2.

Wilmington scored one run in the bottom of the first and fourth innings, to take a 2-0 lead.

An offensive struggle led the Wilmington varsity baseball team to receiving their eighth loss in a row on Monday.

The Wildcats lost to Reed-Custer, 9-2, as managed to score lone runs in the second and fourth innings.

Wildcat baseball no longer undefeated in conference
Wilmington and Manteno were pitted in a pitcher's duel on Monday, as both teams combined for only three hits total.

The Panthers walked away with the 1-0 win, as they scored one run in the fourth inning off a sacrifice fly, defeating the Wildcats who are 11-7 overall, 5-2 conference.
