William E. Neese, Jr.

William E. Neese, 51, of Bradley, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Riverside Medical Center. He was born on November 9, 1965 to William E., Sr. and Ethel Howard Neese. He married Diane Bessette on March 25, 2000 in Kankakee.
William worked in maintenance for the County of Kankakee. He was a Life Scout and Order of the Arrow. He was a member of Wilmington ESDA and Fire Department for a number of years. He loved volunteering with his Rottweiler, Hercules, who was a reading dog for children. He enjoyed R.C. cars. He was a member of the Kankakee Flyers Club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, and camping. He also enjoyed playing the Bolt Action game; his nickname was Black Panther. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
William is survived by his parents, William and Ethel, of Wilmington; his wife, Diane, of Bradley; one son, Ryan Edward Neese, of Bradley; one daughter, Emma Elizabeth Barnes, of Bradley; one sister and brother-in-law, Marsha (Keith) Barnes, of Newport, VA; and two brothers, Richard Neese, of Wilmington, Steven Neese and Jessica Carr, of Essex; and one sister-in-law, Tracie (Mark) Saffell, of Bourbonnais.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Golden and Avia Howard; his paternal grandparents, Herman and Rosalie Neese; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home in Kankakee. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 also at Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home in Kankakee. Jon Quinn will officiate. Burial will follow at Mound Grove Gardens of Memory in Kankakee.
Memorials may be made to his children’s education.
