Warren F. Kimble

COAL CITY—Warren F. Kimble, 86, of Coal City, and formerly of New Lenox and Joliet, passed away peacefully Monday, Oct. 9, 2017 in the care of the compassionate staff at Park Pointe Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Morris, as well as hospice.
Born June 21, 1931 in Chicago, IL, Warren Foster was a son of Glenn Foster and Lillian (Sherman) Kimble. He was raised and educated on the Southshore of Chicago until moving to Joliet. He went on to attend Joliet Junior College, where he earned his associates degree in 1951. On March 21, 1958, Warren married Helen Irene Swaw in Evergreen Park, IL.
Warren was a proud electrician, and retired from IBEW Local 176. He enjoyed fishing, skeet shooting, pontooning, caring for his kitties (Blackie), wildlife, and mostly being with family and friends.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Janet (James) Lucas, of West Virginia; grandchildren: Darla, Jamie, Kelly and Adam; 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; special sister, Glenna (Jack) Cholokian of Lemont; dear brother, Norman Kimble, of Madison, WI; niece and nephew: Valerie and Erick, as well as numerous relatives in Texas.
Warren was preceded in death by his wife, Helen; parents, one brother, Glenn Kimble and one sister, Vivian Kimble.
Family will receive friends Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017 from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 N. Broadway, one block north of Illinois Route 113, in Coal City. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
