Susan Hadaway

BRAIDWOOD—Susan Hadaway, 57, of Braidwood, formerly of Joliet and Chicago, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Morris Hospital.
Born Jan. 1, 1960 in Joliet, Susan Clare was a daughter of Dr. Edward and Jean (nee Magill) Mooney. She attended St. Edwards Episcopal Church growing up and was educated in Joliet where she graduated from Joliet Central High School with the class of 1978.  After high school, Susan went into the information technology field which lead her to a career with Amazon. In her free time she enjoyed crafts, photography, cooking and scrapbooking. Her most treasured times though were spent with her family, especially her grandkids.
Survivors include her two daughters, Danielle (Vincent) Mugnolo and Natalie Hadaway; four grandchildren: Vincenzo, Enzo and Rosaria Mugnolo and Emma Nading Hadaway, all of Coal City; brother, John (Michelle) Mooney of Arizona; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as her close friends: Jennifer Blommaert, Renata Jurenka and Bobby Bhatt.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Edward and Jean (nee Magill) Mooney.
Per Susan's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Edward's Episcopal Church, 206 N. Midland Ave. in Joliet. Immediately following the service, a luncheon will be held to continue celebrating Susan's life.
In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Susan’s memory to the family for their distribution.
