Pauline Russell

ARIZONA—Pauline Russell, 83, of Mesa, AZ and formerly of Wilmington and Warrenville, IL, passed away April 30, 2020 at Red Mountain Senior Home in Mesa.
Born July 6, 1936 in White Plains, NY, Pauline was a daughter of John Gustav and Theresa (Roberts) Kornbrust. On April 24, 1965, Pauline married Simon “Skip” Russell in Wheaton, IL and he preceded her in death in 2006. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Wilmington and belonged to the Eastern Star. Pauline will be remembered for her love of baking.
Survivors include her granddaughter, Lisa Russell and grandson, Griffin Russell, both of Sarasota, FL and many nieces and nephews from across the country who will miss her. Pauline is also survived by her loyal, four-legged companion, Princess.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, Skip; sister, Ann and brothers, Gus and Kenny.
Private family visitation and graveside services will be held on Friday, May 8, 2020 with Vicar Kyle Johnson from Grace Lutheran Church in Wilmington officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Wilmington, where Pauline will be laid to rest with her late husband, Skip.
