Patrick Woulfe

BRAIDWOOD— Patrick Woulfe, 85, of Braidwood, passed away Monday, April 8, 2019 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.
Born May 23, 1933 in Ireland to Maurice and Mary (nee Falahee) Woulfe.  Patrick was a 50 year member of the Immaculate Conception Church, and also a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Braidwood Lions Club.  
Pat worked for the State of Illinois as a Highway Maintainer for 27 years.  After retiring, he worked at the Braidwood Recreation Club as a gate guard.  
Surviving are one son, Pat (Wendy) Woulfe, of LaSalle; two granddaughters: Emma Woulfe and Brianna Woulfe; special friend, Maggie Kubes, of Braidwood; sisters-in-law, Dee deGroh, of Naperville, and Kay Woulfe, of Ireland; and numerous cousins.  
Preceding him in death were his wife, Esther (nee King) Woulfe; his parents; daughter, Kathleen Woulfe, four brothers: Ed Woulfe, Maurice Woulfe, Sean Woulfe, and Mike Woulfe; and one sister, Kate “Daisy” Woulfe.  
Mass of Christian Burial will be at the Immaculate Conception Church in Braidwood on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour preceding service.  Rev. Robert Noesen will officiate.  
Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Braidwood.  
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be directed to the donor’s choice.
