National Life Chain prayer gathering

    National Life Chain 2017, led by the Wilmington and Braidwood Knights of Columbus and Legion of Mary, will take place on Respect Life Sunday, Oct. 1, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Participants in the prayerful gathering will meet at the Grundy Bank parking lot in downtown Wilmington. All faiths are welcome to attend and pray for a greater respect for life from the moment of conception. Dress for the weather and bring a lawn chair if you wish.
