Lois M. Aimone

DWIGHT— Lois Marie (nee Kramer) Aimone, 89, of Dwight, IL passed away Thursday, Nov. 25, 2021 at Park Pointe Nursing Home in Morris. Born Oct. 30, 1932 in Joplin, MO to the late Ralph and Antoinette Marie (nee Vasik) Kramer.
Lois attended Gardner-South Wilmington High School. She had a knack for finding the best deals, and enjoyed attending garage sales and flee markets.
Surviving are two sons, George (Maryann) Aimone, III of Gardner, and Randy Aimone of Braceville; two daughters, Karen (Marvin) Decker of Essex, and Darlene (Gary) Granger of South Wilmington; ten grandchildren, Amie (Paul Avram) Granger, Katie (Brian) Aichelle, Megan (Pat) Winchell, Michelle (Dan) Wilber, George Aimone, Jeramie Aimone, Jeremy (Emily) Jerz, Olivia (Mike Funk) Aimone, Justin Decker, and Matthew (Nikole) Decker; sixteen great-grandchildren, Vanna, Emellyn, Drake, Remi, Jaidan, Evynn, Adia, Harrison, Scout, Lawson, Hudson, Henry, Wyatt, Landon, Harper, and Kade; and numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.
Preceding her in death were her husband, George Aimone, Jr. (3-26-1969), who she married Sept. 1950; two sisters, Betty (Amon) Downs and Emma Moore.
Visitation for Lois will be at the R.W. Patterson Funeral Home & Crematory, Braidwood, Friday, Dec. 3, 2021 from 5-8 p.m. Cremation rites will be accorded following visitation. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
