Lady Coalers remain unbeaten in ICE conference

GOING UP FOR a kill against Herscher is Lady Coaler Paige Walker.
The Lady Coaler volleyball teams hit the road last week, winning two of three levels at Herscher.
The varsity squad beat the hosts 25-13 and 25-15, to imprpve their overall record to 12-5 and 5-0 in ICE.
Addyson Waliczek had 15 setting assists, 4 service aces, and 2 digs to pace Coal City.Kayla Henline had 3 setting assists, 3 kills and 2 service aces while sister Kenzi Henline had 5 kills and 4 service aces.
Contributing 2 kills, 3 service aces and 2 digs was Gwen Wharrie while Bella Veraveic had 2 kills and 1 service ace.
Peyton Benson had 2 kills.
Teagan Fox, Carley Morris, Emma Rodriguez and Paige Walker all had one kill for the night.
Jadyn Shaw led in digs with 5.
The JV Lady Coalers lost to Herscher 25-23, 24-26 and 21-25. This brings their overall record to 8-4-1
The Freshmen Lady Coalers dominated over Herscher 25-15 and 25-15. This brings their overall record to 7-1.

Coal City was to host the 7th Annual Megan Bugg Childhood Cancer night versus Reed Custer last night (Tuesday). They will travel to Lisle on Thursday before competing in the Manteno Classic on Saturday.
