Keith E. Lockwood

WILMINGTON—Keith E. Lockwood, 93, of Wilmington, IL, passed away Friday, March 24, 2017 at the Illinois Veteran's Home in Manteno, IL.  
Born Jan. 24, 1924 in Monrovia, CA, he was the son of Earl and Mary (nee Baker) Lockwood. Keith was a Veteran of the United States Army Air Force, serving during WWII.  He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Wilmington, IL.  Keith owned and operated Lockwood Auto in Wilmington, IL for many years. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and coaching little league.  
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lila (nee Mullins) of Wilmington; two sons, Todd (Ruth) Lockwood and Steve Lockwood, both of Wilmington; daughter, Denise (Marc) Price of Reading, PA; six grandchildren: Shane Price, Joseph Price, Matthew (Laura) Price, Blake Price, Brett (Tiffany) Lockwood and Drew Lockwood and seven great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents, one brother, Donald Lockwood; two sisters, Marcella Fulton and Marianna Gunning and one granddaughter, Leigh Ann Lockwood.
Visitation will be at the R.W. Patterson Funeral Homes, Ltd. & Crematory, Braidwood Chapel, Friday, March 31, from 4-7 p.m. with services at 7 p.m.  Rev. Win Alley will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded following services. Inurnment with military honors will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL, Monday, April 3, 2017 at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in his name may be directed to the First Presbyterian Church in Wilmington.
