John R. Inocencio

GARDNER—John R. Inocencio, 34, of Gardner, passed away suddenly on March 28, 2021 after a motor vehicle accident.
John was born on Oct. 18, 1986 in Morris to Loren “Butch” and Michelle (nee Ames) Inocencio. After graduating from Coal City High School in 2005, he went on to obtain his CDL from Advantage Driver Training. In 2011, he met Lauren Fry, and they wed in 2012. They have one child, McKenna Rae Fry.
John loved playing with Wonder, “his” family cat and Ollie, the family dog. He enjoyed bonfires, lighting off fireworks and playing silly pranks. He loved showing off his new toys with pride. His favorite thing to do was go to the Coal City Area Club and take rides around with his father, Butch, being on the pontoon boat, barbecuing and spending time with his wife, Lauren, and his daughter, McKenna, among other family and friends. His dedication to follow in his father's footsteps in trucking will never end because as we all know, John never gave up. He will always be remembered as a kid at heart, but most importantly, as a family man.
John is survived by his wife, Lauren M. Fry; his daughter, McKenna R. Fry; his parents, Loren “Butch” and Michelle Inocencio; his brothers, Jason Breen and Michael Inocencio; his sisters, Amber Zebel and Kristina Inocencio; his grandmothers, Mary Beth Inocencio and Barbara J. Brandow; his aunts, Laura Medlar and Lynn Inocencio; his cousins, Natalie (Jeremy) Coy and Samantha Dunn and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, John and Hazel Davito and Clyde and Eileen Snively, his grandfather, Adolfo “Chico” Inocencio, and his uncles, Jay Medlar and Michael Ames.
