Easter Egg Hunt Saturday in Braidwood

KEEP IT A SECRET! The Easter Bunny will be hiding hundreds of eggs for boys and girls to find during the annual Easter Egg hunt at Old Smokey Park on Saturday.

The Braidwood Park District’s Annual Children’s Easter egg hunt in the Old Smokey City Park will take place on Saturday, March 28 starting promptly at 1 p.m. with the youngest age group. Age groups are as follows:
• 1-3 years (Tee-Ball Field) Parents/Guardians may walk with their children as the children pick up eggs.
• 4-6 years (north boys baseball field) If necessary, one parent or guardian may walk with the child as the children pick up the eggs.
• 7-10 years (south girls softball field) Parents/guardians will NOT be allowed in the grass area where the eggs are spread out. Treat bags will be given out to all children, while supplies last.
Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny will be making a special appearance to meet with children before and after the hunt. Check-in will begin at noon under the pavilion between the baseball fields. The first 400 children to check in will also receive a free Easter basket complements of the Braidwood Knights of Columbus Council 1574 and the Braidwood Lions Club.
