Dorothy Reynolds

BRACEVILLE—Dorothy Reynolds, 89, of Braceville, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Morris Hospital. Born April 26, 1931, Dorothy Dolores was a daughter of Chester and Beulah (nee Foster) Reynolds. She was raised in Braceville, and was a past member of the Pentecostal Church of Wilmington and the Main Street Baptist Church in Braidwood. Dorothy was a long time resident of Trinity Services who loved to play bingo and do crosswords, and will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Survivors include her sister, Mae (the late Charles) Byerley, of Braidwood; six nieces and nephews: Linda (Mike) Schott, of Coal City; Charles Byerley, of Florida; Pat (Fred) Wood, of Marion, IL; Donna (Mike) Calhoun, of Braidwood; Sharon O'Donnell, of Arizona and Susie Flowers, of Godley; as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and two nephews, Robert and Clyde Byerley. Per Dorothy's wishes, cremation rites are being accorded. Memorial services will be held at a later date, and she will be laid to rest at Braceville-Gardner Cemetery.
