WILMINGTON—Charles “Butch” Calhoun, 60, of Wilmington, passed away Friday, Aug. 23, 2019 Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
Born Jan. 22, 1959 in Joliet, Charles Allen was the son of Raymond and Della (nee Warriner) Calhoun. He was raised and educated in Wilmington and married Julie Wallace on Aug. 2, 1997. Butch enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, and collecting knives.
Survivors include his stepchildren, Robert (Nicole) Angelo, of Morris and Brian Angelo, of Rockford; one step-grandson, Logan Angelo; his sister, Mary Calhoun, of Wilmington; one nephew, Rayme (Tina) Calhoun, of Wilmington and his great-niece and great-nephew: Kaileigh Calhoun and Cody Ehrsam.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond on Sept. 18, 2000 and Della Mae on July 28, 2016 and his wife, Julie Calhoun on Aug. 3, 2017.
Per Butch’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.
