Brian Schumacher

CHICAGO—Brian Daniel Schumacher, 30, of Chicago and formerly of Wilmington, passed away suddenly on Aug. 1, 2018.
Born Feb. 27, 1988 in Joliet, Brian is a son of Richard and Colleen (Glenney) Schumacher of Wilmington. He was a 2006 graduate of Wilmington High School and a proud member of Iron Workers Local #1 in Chicago.
Survivors include his parents, Richard and Colleen Schumacher; brother Michael Schumacher, and sister Sue Ellen Schumacher, as well as numerous beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
Brian was preceded in death by his brother Timothy Schumacher.
The family will receive friends for a visitation at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018 from 3 p.m. until time of Celebration of Life at 7 p.m.
Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
A private family inurnment will be in Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Wilmington, where he will be laid to rest with his brother and maternal grandparents.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Brian’s memory to Friends of the Will County Problem Solving Courts, 62 W. Washington St., Joliet,  Kuzma Care Cottage 635 S. Main St., Wilmington, IL 60481 or to St. Rose School, 626 S. Kankakee St., Wilmington, IL 60481.
