Annual Easter egg hunt

    The Braidwood Park District’s annual children’s Easter egg hunt in the Old Smokey City Park will take place on Saturday April 13, starting promptly at 1 p.m.
    Age groups will be: 0 to 3 years - between baseball & softball fields, 4 to 6 years - north boys baseball field, and 7 to 9 years - south girls softball field.
    Treat bags will be given out after the hunt to all children while supplies last. Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny will be making a special appearance to meet with children before and after the hunt.
    Arrive early and check in under the pavilion between the baseball fields prior to the start of the hunt.
    Children can enter a raffle to win a free Easter basket (one boy and one girl) complements of the Braidwood Lions Club.
    Park in the south parking lot off of First Street near the baseball fields.

    Braidwood McDonald’s and Polk-a-Dot Drive In will donate ice cream cones and happy meal coupons which will be placed inside eggs and spread throughout the hunting grounds.
