Adolfo Inocencio

COAL CITY—Adolfo “Chico” Inocencio, 86, of Coal City, passed away Saturday, Jan, 27, 2018  at Heritage Health in Dwight, IL.
He was born Dec. 23, 1931 in Lytle, TX to Eulogio and Natividad (Flores-Lopez) Inocencio. He married Mary Beth Maland on July 29, 1959 in Wilmington, IL.  He retired from Johns Manville Corporation in Rockdale, IL where he had worked for 38 years. Chico enjoyed traveling, especially to his beloved home state of Texas.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Beth; two daughters, Laura (Jay) Medlar, of Oregon, IL  and Lynn Inocencio; one son, Loren “Butch” (Michelle) Inocencio, of Coal City; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters: Amelia Gomez, Olga Ramirez and Eliza Jimenez of Lytle, TX;  Jovita “Hope” Inocencio, of Lebanon, TN;  and brothers: Rolando, of San Antonio, TX; Roberto, Julio and Eulogio Inocencio, of Lytle, TX and Cruz Inocencio, of Aurora, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Elvira, Graciela, Emma and Hortencha and a brother, Gilberto.
Flameless cremation rites, a gentle and eco-friendly choice, will be accorded.
A gathering of friends in celebration of Chico's life will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018 at the Ferrari Funeral Chapel, corner of Spring Road and Ferrari Drive, in Coal City.
