Run hard, control the line of scrimmage.
That’s going to be the game plan for Reed-Custer football team on Thursday when they host undefeated Wilmington.
The Comets, coming off of 20-0 loss to Lisle, can’t afford to get soft with Wilmington, who are coming off of a physical, 24-6 win over Herscher, who were held under 100 yards of total offense.
They know that the ‘Cats pose a threat in the run game and if they don’t stop that run game, they’ll be looking at a 1-2 start to the shortened season.
