GODLEY—Dorothy Rae Willis (née Renner), 89, of Godley, passed away Monday, May 25, 2026, at her home with her family by her side. Born on June 28, 1936, Dorothy was the daughter of John and Eldora (née Dixion) Renner.
Dorothy married Frank T. Willis on July 3, 1954, and together they made their home in Godley, where they raised their family and shared 71 loving years together.

SILVIS, IL—Kathryn Ann Summers, 90, of Silvis, IL, passed away at the University of Iowa Hospital surrounded by immediate family on April 26, 2026. Despite the highly skilled care she received in the ICU, Kathryn died from a devastating brain bleed after a fall.

COAL CITY—Susan L. Kenney, 69, of Coal City, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care in Joliet.
She was born on July 3, 1956 in Morris to Bernard and Marjorie (nee Smith) Roth. She worked at her family’s business, Roth Bakery, while growing up and graduated from Morris Community High School. Susan married Jerry T. “Squirrel” Kenney on Dec. 10, 1976 in Joliet. Together they raised two children. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.

Born on Aug. 28, 1939, in Joliet, Glenn John Pogliano was the son of Hector Henry and Josephine (Fiori) Pogliano. He was raised in Coal City and graduated from Coal City High School with the Class of 1957.
