The Coal City boys basketball team had their season come to an end Friday falling to Streator, 63-45.
Coal City trailed 25-8 in the first quarter, unable to slow down the Bulldogs’ scoring attack led by Jack Haynes, who put up 16 points.
Streator had a 37-19 lead into the break and had the momentum throughout the second half.
The Coalers attempted to comeback in the third but mustered just 10 points as Streator outscored them 13-10 to extend their lead.
