Residents in Braidwood spotted a unicorn last week — and no, the self isolation isn’t getting to their heads.
April Highbaugh, of Braidwood, has been mowing lawns for the last nine years through her business, Cullen Lawn Works. But, dressing up in an inflatable unicorn costume while she works is out of her typical style.
Last Wednesday, while the sun was out and the temperature soared to 80 degrees on the early April day, Highbaugh decided to put on the pink getup while mowing several lawns in town.
The purpose? Simply to bring joy to others.
