COAL CITY HIGH School senior Makenna Crater is organizing a collection to ensure every resident at Heritage Health nursing home in Dwight has a gift to open this Christmas. Crater works at the nursing center as a CNA. In addition to her part-time job and studies, she is a three-sport athlete, involved in her school's Drama Club, sings with the Madrigals, takes the stage for musicals and is vice president of Coalers with Character.
